Scholarships
First-Year Student Scholarship Award: Any student who applies to Rutgers New Brunswick (no seperate application). This is a merit based scholarship so its based on your stats.
National Merit Scholarships/College-Sponsored Merit Award: Any student who is selected as National Merit finalist and has Rutgers New Brunswick as a first choice.
Class Endowed Scholarships: Any student who knows someone who was in the class years of 1940, 1941, 1949, 1970, 1978, 1982, 1983, and the Rutgers College Class of 1980.
Theodore J. and F. Elizabeth Kirsch Southern California Scholarship: Any student that lives in San Jose, San Mateo, and Palm Desert and files for FAFSA.
Grants
Federal Pell Grants: Grant for students that are pursuing their first bachelor's degree. (need-based)
NJ Stars II: Awarded to students who went to a 2-year college and got at least a 3.25 GPA.
NJ Educational Opportunity Fund: Grant for students from New Jersey (need-based)
Student Loans
Federal Direct Loans: Loans from the government that you must pay back.
Plus Loans: Loans where your parent will take out and apply it to their child's education.
